Southern Avenue, a Memphis-based family band, mixes blues, soul, and gospel with powerful grooves and guitar. GRAMMY-nominated and Blues Music Award-winning, they feature Tierinii Jackson's dynamic vocals, harmonizing with sisters Tikyra on drums and Ava on percussion and violin. Israeli guitarist Ori Naftaly adds his raw Memphis sound. Named after a famous Memphis street, Southern Avenue tours globally, sharing stages with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan. Saxophonist and singer-songwriter Jimmy Carpenter, originally from New Orleans, is celebrated for his soulful style. He's a 2-time Blues Music Award winner and Grammy-winning composer. His album "Soul Doctor" highlighted his flourishing career. Jimmy has toured with Tinsley Ellis and more, and is the Musical Director of The Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas.
