Indecision formed in 1993 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, from Catholic high school classmates. The NYC hardcore band released singles and three Exit Records albums (Unorthodox, Most Precious Blood, To Live and Die in New York City) and 1999’s Release the Cure.

Guitarist Stanley Jordan is a leading exponent of touch/two-hand tapping, creating multilayered parts like 2–3 guitarists. First signed to Blue Note’s reactivated label (1985), his album Magic Touch became a classic. Played on Kenny Rogers’ No. 1 “Morning Desire.”
