Stephane Wrembel, born in France, is a virtuoso guitarist known for his modern twist on Django Reinhardt's gypsy style, blending jazz, blues, flamenco, and rock. His fame grew after Woody Allen featured his music in Midnight in Paris. Wrembel has collaborated with artists like David Grisman and Jean-Michel Pilc and founded NYC's Django A Gogo Festival. Notable works include Origins, featuring "Bistro Fada," and albums The Django Experiment I-V. An acclaimed musician and educator, he studied at Berklee and has released numerous inventive albums.
