The Florida Orchestra, formed in 1968 from a merger of Tampa and St. Petersburg orchestras, is Florida's largest professional symphony. Known for diverse classical and popular performances, it made history as the first symphony to perform at a Super Bowl. The orchestra also engages the community through education and has released chart-topping recordings.
