Born Steven Williams in Stoke-on-Trent, England, Steve Ignorant co-founded anarcho-punk band Crass in 1977, known for songs like "Do They Owe Us A Living". He extended punk's rebellion and influenced a generation. He has collaborated with Conflict and Current 93. His project Slice of Life explores a more acoustic, contemplative style. He is also an artist and author of "The Rest Is Propaganda".
