Warner E. Hodges, born in Würzburg, Germany, is an American rock guitarist known for his influential work with Jason & the Scorchers, pioneering cowpunk and alt-country. An "ace guitar slinger," his style blends hard rock, heavy metal, punk, and country. He is also a member of Dan Baird & Homemade Sin and The Bluefields. His albums include "Soul Shaker" and "Absolutely." Jason & the Scorchers received the Americana Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award.
