Susan Werner, from near Manchester, Iowa, is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter. She self-released Midwestern Saturday Night (1993) and Live at the Tin Angel (1994). Her major-label debut Last of the Good Straight Girls (1995) was produced by Fernando Saunders.
