Susto Stringband formed in 2022 in Asheville, NC, uniting Susto frontman Justin Osborne (from Charleston, SC) with Holler Choir members. They blend Osborne's Americana/alt-country songwriting with traditional Appalachian folk, bluegrass, and old-time string band sounds. Popular songs include "Friends, Lovers, Ex-Lovers: Whatever" and "Never Losing Me." They released "Susto Stringband: Volume 1" (2025) and "Volume 2" (2026), featuring collaborations with artists like Morgan Wade.
