Sven Regener

Sven Regener, born 1961 in Bremen, Germany, is a German musician, writer, and screenwriter. He co-founded the melancholic rock band Element of Crime, singing and playing trumpet. Regener is also a bestselling author, known for his "Herr Lehmann" novel series, which he adapted into a film. His works often feature poetic lyrics and a distinctive tone. He received the Carl-Zuckmayer-Medaille and was named Mainzer Stadtschreiber. He also released the jazz album "Ask Me Now" with Regener Pappik Busch and published the novel "Glitterschnitter."
