Swans and Jessica Moss

Swans, led by Michael Gira, emerged from NYC's no wave scene, known for their intense noise-rock and ambient folk. Albums like Filth and To Be Kind garnered acclaim. Jarboe joined in 1986, enhancing their sound. Collaborations include St. Vincent and Cold Specks. Swans disbanded in 1997, re-formed in 2010, and continue evolving with a dynamic lineup, releasing innovative works like the 2023 album The Beggar.

Montréal-based violinist and composer Jessica Moss is known for immersive solo electroacoustic performances. Formerly of Thee Silver Mt. Zion, she co-founded Black Ox Orkestar.
