TEEKS and Anna Coddington

Te Karehana Gardiner-Toi, known professionally as Teeks, is a New Zealand soul singer and songwriter of Māori descent from Northland. Raised with strong Kapa Haka and traditional Māori musical influences, he released his debut EP, The Grapefruit Skies, in 2017, earning the Best Māori Artist award at the New Zealand Music Awards. He achieved widespread acclaim with his 2021 debut studio album, Something to Feel, which topped the New Zealand charts and won multiple accolades, including Best Solo Artist and Best Soul/RnB Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards. He is celebrated for his velvety baritone voice, emotionally charged ballads, and ability to seamlessly blend throwback soul elements with his cultural heritage.
