British alternative band Skunk Anansie, known for their clit-rock style blending metal and Black feminist rage, formed in 1994. Renowned for hits like "Selling Jesus," they have a dynamic sound captured in albums like Paranoid and Sunburnt, Stoosh, and Post Orgasmic Chill. Skin, Cass, Ace, and Mark Richardson have delivered electrifying performances worldwide. After a 2001 breakup, they reunited in 2009, releasing Wonderlustre and Black Traffic.
