TV Smith & The Bored Teenagers and The Adverts

The Adverts, a pioneering punk band from London, featured bassist Gaye Advert, one of punk rock's first female stars. Known for "Gary Gilmore's Eyes," they gained fame with their raw energy, debuting at London's Roxy Club in 1976. They toured with the Damned and released hits like "One Chord Wonders." Their album "Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts" was a success, but they disbanded after their second album.
