Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1988 by Ricky Warwick, the Almighty blended punk rock and heavy metal. Known for albums like Soul Destruction and the chart-reaching Powertrippin, the hard rock band gained a strong live reputation before going on hiatus in 2008.

Wolfsbane

Wolfsbane, from Tamworth, England, mixed Iron Maiden's heaviness with Van Halen's energy. They signed with Rick Rubin's Def American but struggled in album sales, despite their live prowess. Known for producing Iron Maiden’s Blaze Bailey, highlights include their UK charting debut "Live Fast, Die Fast" and touring with Iron Maiden in 1991.
