The Rezillos

Formed in 1976 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Rezillos mixed punk energy with an irreverent glam image. Signed to Sire, they hit the U.K. Top 20 with "Top of the Pops" and released 1978's Can't Stand the Rezillos, later regrouping as the Revillos.

DEVO

Devo are an Akron, Ohio new wave band formed in 1973 around their “de-evolution” concept. Known for stylized visuals and robotic rhythms, they broke big with 1980’s Freedom of Choice and the gold-selling MTV hit “Whip It.”

Lene Lovich

Detroit-born new wave singer Lene Lovich mixed art-pop quirks with hooky pop. Signed to Stiff Records, she scored a UK Top 10 hit with Lucky Number (1979) and released Stateless and Flex. Later issued Shadows and Dust (2005).
