The Bawdies, a Tokyo-based rock band formed in 2004, are celebrated for their energetic, soul-infused sound drawing from 1950s-60s beat music, garage punk, and R&B. Known for Roy's distinctive vocals and all-English lyrics, they've released notable albums like "POPCORN" and "THIS IS THE PARTY". Their live shows are famed as "parties". They received a CD Shop Award and performed at Nippon Budokan.
