Edmar Castaneda, a Colombian harpist from Bogotá, is a jazz virtuoso. He uniquely blends native Colombian and Venezuelan joropo with Latin jazz, simultaneously managing bass, harmony, and melody on the harp. A Latin Grammy nominee for "Family" and Grammy nominee for "BEATrio," he has collaborated with Wynton Marsalis, Béla Fleck, and Paquito D'Rivera.
Banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck blends bluegrass, jazz, classical, and world music. Born in NYC, influenced by Flatt & Scruggs, he's known for New Grass Revival and Béla Fleck & the Flecktones. His collaborations include Abigail Washburn, Chick Corea, and Toumani Diabaté. Notable works: "My Bluegrass Heart," "Perpetual Motion," and Grammy-winning "Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn." Renowned for genre fusion and eclectic musical innovations.
Born in Mexico City, Grammy-winning drummer Antonio Sanchez is celebrated for scoring Birdman. He collaborated with Pat Metheny and Chick Corea. Known for The Meridian Suite and Grammy-nominated Bad Hombre.
