The Bluebells

The Bluebells, formed in 1981 in Glasgow, first gained fame with "Young at Heart," topping the UK charts in 1993. Known for their jangle pop sound, they were signed to London and Sire Records and collaborated with producers like Elvis Costello. Key hits include "I'm Falling" and "Cath." The band, led by Ken and David McCluskey and songwriter Bobby Bluebell, disbanded in 1986 but reunited for performances and released a new album in 2023, blending genres like country, folk, and punk.
