Richmond, Virginia punk/hardcore band Strike Anywhere formed in 1999 with a political, activist approach. Boosted by Tony Hawk game placements, they scored strong sales with Exit English (2003) and Dead FM (2006), later releasing 2020 EP Nightmares of the West.
