Big Joanie are a London-based Black feminist punk band blending ’90s riot grrrl fury with synth-heavy post-punk. Their 2018 debut album Sistahs came via Daydream Library Series, and they’ve supported Bikini Kill, Gossip, Sleater-Kinney and IDLES.

The Breeders

Led by Pixies’ Kim Deal, the Breeders helped shape early-’90s alternative rock. Their 1993 album Last Splash went platinum and spawned the hit “Cannonball.” Debut Pod (1990) reached #22 in the UK; 2018’s All Nerve hit the UK Top 10.
