The Cult with The Mission, The Alarm, and more

Formed in late 1985 by Wayne Hussey, Craig Adams, Simon Hinkler, and Mick Brown, The Mission became a major UK band with 14 Top 40 hits, millions of albums sold, and sold-out tours worldwide. Their 2016 album Another Fall From Grace hit the Top 40.

The Alarm are known for amped-up acoustics, harmonica and vocals, with songs like The Stand and Sixty Eight Guns. After early albums Declaration and Strength, they returned in 2004 via the Poppy Fields escapade, later scoring a UK No. 1 Rock album with Sigma (2019).

Emerging from post-punk roots in 1984, The Cult, led by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, became a major UK hard rock force. Famed for hits "She Sells Sanctuary" and "Fire Woman," they combined gothic style with mystic themes, collaborating with Rick Rubin and sharing stages with Metallica. Despite challenges, they released albums like Sonic Temple, with notable tours and a revival on tracks like "Give Me Mercy." Known for their hard rock evolution, they remain influential.
