LineUp

The Supersuckers, formed in Tucson, Arizona, are known for their energetic blend of hard rock and punk with a touch of humor. Rising to fame under Sub Pop, they debuted with "The Smoke of Hell" in 1992 and are celebrated for "La Mano Cornuda" and their country twist in "Must've Been High." Collaborations with Steve Earle and Eddie Vedder, plus a live album under their label, Mid Fi, cemented their legacy. Lead Eddie Spaghetti overcame cancer, highlighting their resilience. Renowned for songs like "Coattail Rider," they are praised as a unique rock force with a playful edge.
The Detroit Cobras, formed in 1995 by Rachel Nagy and Maribel Restrepo in Detroit, are renowned for their raw R&B and rock covers. Known for their albums "Mink Rat or Rabbit" and "Life, Love and Leaving," they became international garage rock icons. Despite frequent lineup changes, Nagy's dynamic vocals and Restrepo's guitar were the band's core. Collaborated with Greg Cartwright, their music was released on Rough Trade and Sympathy for the Record Industry. Continued live performances until Nagy's passing in 2022.
