Toxic Energy is an American punk rock band from Orange County, California. The group consists of six members: Greg Dickson, Brian Jones, Brent Waterworth, Chris McBride, Shawn Keeney, and Rodney Peralta. They are recognized for their honest, high-energy sound that cuts across genres while staying true to their punk roots.

The Dickies, formed in 1977 in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, are a pioneering punk band known for their humorous style and lively performances. They achieved fame with hits like "Banana Splits" and "You Drive Me Ape (You Big Gorilla)." Their quirky covers and original tracks merged punk-pop and L.A. hardcore influences. Despite lineup shifts and hiatuses, founding members Leonard Graves Phillips and Stan Lee kept the band going. Influential in punk circles, they inspired bands like Green Day and The Offspring. Notable collaborations include a 2019 single with Monkey from The Adicts.
