Gainesville, Florida guitarist Mike Campbell co-founded Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, co-writing many hits and co-producing albums. He wrote Don Henley’s “Boys of Summer,” joined Fleetwood Mac’s 2018 World Tour, and leads The Dirty Knobs.
The Dirty Knobs, formed in Los Angeles in 2000 by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' Mike Campbell, deliver guitar-forward rock with 60s, blues, and country influences. Known for Campbell's acclaimed guitar work, they have released albums like "Wreckless Abandon," "External Combustion," and "Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits." Collaborations include Chris Stapleton, Lucinda Williams, and Graham Nash.
