The Subways are a punk-pop/Britpop rock band formed in 2000 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Fronted by Billy Lunn and Charlotte Cooper, they won Glastonbury’s Unsigned Performers contest and earned a gold record for “Rock & Roll Queen.”

The Holloways

UK rock band formed in 2004 in a pub on Holloway Road. Lineup: Alfie Jackson, Rob Skipper, Bryn Fowler and Dave Danger. Released their debut album in 2006, earning multiple No. 1s on indie charts; known for the song Generator.
