Born in Maroon Town, Jamaica, Jesse Royal sings roots reggae: heavy riddims, Rasta spiritual lyrics. Known for hits “Always Be Around,” “Gimme Likkle”; mentored by Marley circle; produced by Fatis Burrell; topped US reggae charts with "Lily of da Valley".
