Formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, The HU fuse heavy metal with traditional instruments and Mongolian throat singing (“Hunnu Rock”). Their 2019 debut The Gereg hit #1 on world charts, won the Order of Genghis Khan, and earned a UNESCO Artist of Peace honor.

Apocalyptica

Formed in 1993 at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, Apocalyptica are classically trained cellists turned metal act, first known for Metallica covers. Their 1996 debut Plays Metallica By Four Cellos was followed by Plays Metallica, Vol. 2.

The Rasmus

Finnish rock band The Rasmus formed in 1994. Debut Peep and follow-up Playboys went gold; Playboys won an Emma. Dead Letters (2003) broke through with “In the Shadows.” Rise (2022) featured Eurovision entry “Jezebel.”
