British-Barbadian saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings is a celebrated bandleader and composer. Known for pioneering spiritual and avant-garde jazz, he led Sons of Kemet and The Comet Is Coming. His acclaimed albums include "Perceive Its Beauty, Acknowledge Its Grace" (2024) and "Of The Earth" (2026). He has won MOBO and Paul Hamlyn awards, and collaborated with André 3000 and Mulatu Astatke. His work blends Afro-Caribbean traditions and pushes musical boundaries.
