The Libertines

London indie-rock band led by Carl Barât & Pete Doherty; brash, melodic “ragged poetry.” Hits: “Don’t Look Back…Sun,” “Can’t Stand Me Now.” NME Best New Band/Best Band; collab Mick Jones.

Sports Team

UK guitar band Sports Team built word-of-mouth live hype with chaotic early gigs at The Five Bells and Moth Club before releasing music. Their debut album Deep Down Happy (2020) was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
