Formed in Bristol by friends who bonded over video games, sea-shanty pioneers The Longest Johns began after recording themselves singing in a kitchen. For over a decade, they have championed folk music, balancing tradition with reinvention and transforming theatres into communal singing spaces for contemporary audiences.

Colm McGuinness

Colm McGuinness, an Irish multi-instrumentalist from Dublin, blends traditional folk, rock, and sea shanties. Celebrated for his broad vocal range and viral covers, including "Hoist the Colours," he also composes for Critical Role and video games. His musical works feature albums such as "Tavern Crawl" and notable collaborations, highlighting his engaging style.
