The Lower Lights, a Utah-based collective formed around 2009, revitalizes traditional hymns and spirituals with folk, bluegrass, and Americana styles. Known for their acclaimed Christmas concerts and albums like "Sorrow No More" (2023) and "Trouble the Water" (2023), they feature a rotating cast of talented musicians. Their name draws from the hymn "Let the Lower Lights Be Burning".
