LineUp

Philadelphia soul pioneers The Intruders, formed in 1960, scored hits like "Cowboys to Girls" and "I'll Always Love My Mama," working closely with Gamble & Huff.
Eddie Holman, born in Norfolk, Virginia, is a soul and gospel artist best known for "Hey There Lonely Girl." The song peaked at #4 R&B and #2 pop in 1970. Trained in music, he starred in NBC's "The Children's Hour." He produced hits like "This Can't Be True" and transitioned from secular to gospel music, becoming a Baptist minister and continuing to perform.
The Manhattans, formed in Jersey City in 1962, are an R&B group known for adapting to changing times and styles. They gained fame with hits like "Kiss and Say Goodbye" in 1976 and "Shining Star" in 1980. The group, led by Gerald Alston and Winfred "Blue" Lovett, won a Grammy and remained influential with smooth soul ballads. They collaborated with producer Leo Graham and had successful albums with Columbia. Despite member changes, the group persevered, reuniting in the '90s and continuing to perform until recent years.
