Ora the Molecule, the musical project of Norwegian artist Nora Schjelderup, creates avant-pop and space disco, blending electronic elements with storytelling. Known for defying pop conventions, her albums include Human Safari and the award-winning Dance Therapy, which earned a Norwegian Grammy for Best Electronic Album. Muscle Memory is a NYC-based DJ/production duo of Steven Reker and Michael Tapper, blending Italo Disco, Post Punk, and Chicago House. They perform as a synthpop duo and DJ at Nightmoves, a Brooklyn club by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. Reker has worked with David Byrne and Fleet Foxes, while Tapper has played with We Are Scientists. Their 12” singles feature remixes by Justin Strauss and more.
