LineUp

Martha Davis, from Berkeley, joined The Motels, hitting it big with hits like "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer." The band achieved gold record status with their unique sound. After brief breakup, Davis went solo and later reformed The Motels.
Formed in London in 1980 by Malcolm McLaren, Bow Wow Wow, featuring Annabella Lwin, is known for hits like "I Want Candy." Their new wave style blends punk, pop, and African rhythms. The band's two albums secured their pop history, with highlights including "Go Wild in the Country." They influenced music piracy culture with the cassette single "C·30 C·60 C·90 Go!" and worked with notable figures like Boy George. Disbanding in 1983, the band reunited for tours, impacting the music scene with their lively performances and distinctive style.
Missing Persons, born in 1980s L.A., is a new wave band known for hits like "Walking in L.A." and "Words." Fronted by Dale Bozzio, they mixed pop with synth innovation.
Gene Loves Jezebel, formed by Welsh twins Jay and Michael Aston, is a goth-influenced band known for "Jealous," their highest-charting U.S. single. Major albums include "Promise" and "Discover." They collaborated with musicians like John Cale. Over the years, lineup changes included notable members like guitarist James Stevenson. The Aston brothers eventually split, each touring with their versions of the band, leading to a legal settlement over the name. Jay's group released "Dance Underwater" in 2017.
