The Mountain Goats are led by prolific songwriter and novelist John Darnielle, who began the project in 1991. Known for literary, impressionistic character studies, they evolved from lo-fi cassettes like Nine Black Poppies to albums like The Sunset Tree and Beat the Champ.

Mikaela Davis

Mikaela Davis, a Rochester, New York native, is a classically trained harpist known for her genre-bending music. She weaves folk, country-rock, psychedelia, and indie rock, often using her harp with a guitar's muscularity. Her album "Graceland Way" arrived in 2026, featuring collaborations with artists like Madison Cunningham. She is celebrated for her unique sound.
