Slow Pulp, an indie rock band from Madison, Wisconsin, formed in 2015 and based in Chicago. Their sound blends dreamy vocals with shoegaze, grunge, and lo-fi aesthetics, creating an ethereal and nostalgic energy. Key albums include Moveys (2020) and Yard (2023). They are recognized for songs such as "Steel Birds," "Cramps," and "Better Man," and have supported acts like Death Cab for Cutie.
Indie-electronic band Postal Service, formed by Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel), was named after their long-distance collaboration method.
