BC Place is a 54,500-capacity multi-purpose stadium located on the north side of False Creek in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, originally opened in 1983 for Expo 86. Initially the world's largest air-supported domed stadium, it underwent a major renovation in 2011 to feature a state-of-the-art retractable roof.
