Digable Planets are a jazz-rap trio formed in the early ’90s by Butterfly (Brooklyn), Ladybug (Silver Springs, MD) and Doodlebug (Philadelphia). Their 1993 debut Reachin’ went Top 20 with “Rebirth of Slick” and won a Grammy; 1994’s Blowout Comb followed.
