Formed in 1973 in England, the Rubettes are best known for "Sugar Baby Love," a glam rock hit. They wore red and white suits, reached U.K. Top Ten with "Tonight" and "Jukebox Jive," and tackled homophobia with "Under One Roof." Re-formed in the '80s, they toured Europe, featuring Alan Williams.
