The Saints

The Saints, formed in Brisbane, Australia, in 1973, pioneered punk rock. Known for their raw energy and independent spirit, they released the influential single "(I'm) Stranded" in 1976. Their sound evolved beyond punk to include alternative rock and R&B. Notable songs include "This Perfect Day" and "Just Like Fire Would". Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, their legacy includes the album Long March Through the Jazz Age (2025).
