The Stokes

The Strokes, formed in New York City in 1998, spearheaded the early 2000s garage rock and post-punk revival. Known for their raw, distinctive sound, they gained acclaim with albums like "Is This It" and "The New Abnormal," which earned a Grammy. Popular songs include "Last Nite" and "Reptilia." Their influence redefined indie rock. Julian Casablancas has collaborated with artists like Regina Spektor.
