New York City rock band formed in 1999 around Julian Casablancas. Known for a hooky punk/new wave/garage sound. Their 2001 debut Is This It went platinum and spawned “Last Nite” and “Someday”; 2020’s The New Abnormal won a Grammy.
Lil Yachty (born Miles McCollum in Mableton, metro Atlanta) is a rapper known for “bubblegum trap” and “mumble rap.” He scored a 2016 platinum hit with “One Night,” featured on Grammy-nominated “Broccoli,” and earned Top Ten albums Teenage Emotions and Lil Boat 2.
Formed in Melbourne’s pub-rock scene in 2016, punk band Amyl and the Sniffers feature vocalist Amy Taylor. They released critically acclaimed albums Amyl and the Sniffers (2019) and Comfort To Me (2021), blending classic punk with glam and balladry.
Nu Genea is Napoli duo Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina, blending disco, funk, boogie, electronic and dub. After collaborating with Tony Allen on The Tony Allen Experiments (2015), they released Nuova Napoli (2018) and Bar Mediterraneo (2022); the 2021 single Marechià features Célia Kameni.
Paris-based French-Algerian collective Acid Arab blend Western electronic music with Eastern sounds and vocals. Formed by Pierre-Yves Casanova, Nicolas Borne, Hervé Carvalho, Guido Minisky and Kenzi Bourras; released Musique de France (2016) and Jdid (2019).
Palms Trax, from England’s Riviera, is a DJ/producer shaped by Chicago house and Detroit techno. His Dekmantel EPs and dancefloor hit raised his profile, while his Cooking with Palms Trax show on Berlin Community Radio (since 2015) built a cult following.
London-born, Berlin-based producer Joseph Richmond-Seaton, aka Call Super, makes inventive techno and experimental albums. Key releases include Suzi Ecto (2014), Arpo (2017) and Eulo Cramps (2023); issued Fabric 92 and collaborated with Beatrice Dillon and Parris.
Born in London, Charlie Cunningham melds melancholic tunes with rhythmic flair on piano and guitar. Known for headlining Queen Elizabeth Hall, his work boasts over half a billion streams. Influenced by Flamenco, his music includes art rock and neo-classical touches.
Lori Meyers, formed in 1998 in Loja, Spain, are known for their alternative rock sound. They've released hits like "Dilema" and "Luces de Neón." Their album "En la Espiral" topped the Spanish charts in 2017. Collaborating with Grammy winner Sebastián Krys, their work reached notable chart positions, gaining critical acclaim.
