Paul Weller, born in England, formed the Style Council with Mick Talbot in 1983 after leaving the Jam. Despite success with albums like "Cafe Bleu," the band faced declining popularity in the late '80s. Weller began a solo career in 1991, regaining critical acclaim, while Talbot continued to perform.
