The Union Underground released debut album Education in Rebellion (July 2000), charting four months. Single Turn Me on 'Mr. Deadman' stayed on mainstream rock charts six months. They played 2001 Ozzfest and released "Across the Nation" on WWF Forced Entry (2002).
Chicago heavy rock band SOiL is known for hit singles “Halo,” “Unreal,” “Redefine,” “The Lesser Man,” and “Shine On.” They signed to J Records (BMG) and broke through with 2001’s Scars, followed by albums re.de.fine and Whole.
Kentucky nu-metal/alt metal/hard rock band formed in 1996, led by singer Chris Volz. Signed to Republic after a CBGB showcase; debut Through the Eyes (2001) topped Billboard Heatseekers. Endangered Species (2004) was their highest-charting release.
Ra is an American alternative metal band formed in New York City in 1996, known for blending hard rock, nu-metal, and Middle Eastern influences. Led by Sahaj Ticotin, their hits include "Do You Call My Name," "Fallen Angels," and "Broken Hearted Soul." The band released their album "Intercorrupted" in 2021 and has continued to release new singles, with frontman Ticotin also producing for other artists. Ra is currently touring.
