The Vampires

The Vampires are an acclaimed Australian world-roots jazz band, formed in Sydney. Known for their distinctive sound blending saxophone and trumpet with hypnotic grooves, they incorporate reggae, Balkan, Afrobeat, and Latin rhythms. The ensemble has released multiple critically acclaimed albums, including "Nightjar" with Chris Abrahams, and received nominations for ARIA, Bell, and AIR Awards, also being shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize.
