The Who and Tom Cochrane

Tom Cochrane, born in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, is a Juno-winning Canadian rock singer-songwriter. He fronted Red Rider and later Tom Cochrane & Red Rider, scoring hits like White Hot, then went solo with Mad Mad World and Life Is a Highway.

Iconic rock band, The Who, emerged from London’s Mod scene in the '60s, famed for dynamic live shows and hits like "My Generation" and "Baba O'Riley." Renowned for Pete Townshend’s inventive compositions and guitar-smashing antics, they created rock operas like Tommy and Quadrophenia. Collaborated with managers Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp, their work shaped rock history. Despite tragedies and lineup changes, they received Kennedy Center Honors and continue to tour.
