Though initially overshadowed, they became respected for their catchy pop/rock tunes, distinguishing them from contemporaries. The Lords, a German rock band, rose in the '60s with a mix of German oom-pah, American folk, and skiffle. Known for hits like "Poison Ivy," they captivated with their fast tempos and distinctive Teutonic vocals. Despite limited English-speaking world fame, collectors later cherished their unique style. Between 1964-1968, they released five albums, showcasing influences from Merseybeat and British rock.
