Known for albums like "Tindersticks" and "The Something Rain," they have collaborated with Claire Denis on film scores and have a dedicated cult following. Their eponymous debut (1993) was Melody Maker's Album of the Year. With roots in Asphalt Ribbons, the band features Stuart Staples and others.
