Formed by four California teens in 1986 after a Monty Python joke band name, Toad the Wet Sprocket features founders Glen Phillips, Todd Nichols and Dean Dinning. Known for introspective lyrics, melodic guitars and vocal harmonies; released Rings: The Acoustic Sessions.
The Jayhawks are a Minneapolis band blending country, folk, soul, Britpop and rock ’n’ roll. Pioneers of the Americana movement, they’ve released 12 studio and three live albums, toured major festivals, and backed Ray Davies, Roger McGuinn, and Johnny Cash.
Formed in New Braunfels, Texas, Sixpence None the Richer began when guitarist Matt Slocum met vocalist Leigh Nash. Their self-titled 1997 album on Squint Entertainment spawned the hit Kiss Me; 1995’s This Beautiful Mess won a Dove Award.
