Tom Pauls, born in Leipzig, Germany, in 1959, is a celebrated actor, cabaret artist, and musician. He co-founded the renowned Zwinger Trio and created the beloved cult character Ilse Bähnert. Pauls is known for his stage performances, work at the Dresden State Operetta, and passion for the Saxon language. He established the Tom Pauls Theater in Pirna and founded the Ilse Bähnert Foundation.
